Paper 3: Geographical Applications 76 marks 1hr 15min
- Section A: Issue evaluation [37]
  Answering questions about a seen geographical issue – this could be linked to any topic in paper 1 or 2 that you have studied, we will go through this resource in class so don’t worry.
  This section will include geographical skills questions, asking you to interpret figures
  The 9 marker is usually an evaluation question about the issue raised “should the proposal go ahead or not” “which proposal is more sustainable and why,” this does vary a little each year.
- Section B: Field Work [39]
  This will include some unseen field work questions where you have to interpret, present and analyse data, graphs, maps charts etc
  The remainder of this section will be about your human and physical field work
  Your enquiry question
  Where did you go and why, risk assessment
  What you did to collect data and why
  How did you collect your data and why
  What conclusions can you draw from your field work
  Evaluate how effective your field work is and how it could be improved next time.
